چکیده

Purpose: to determine patterns of formation hydrographic network elements depending on the melt-and rainwater runoff and soil losses. Materials methods. The studies were carried out in upper reaches Bolshoy Log gully system, which is a part land use experimental farm “Polevoy” Federal Rostov Agrarian Research Center, with an area 2070 hectares, more than 70 % arable land. Soils are ordinary chernozems varying degrees erosion. standard methods research method pins used plots. Results. Within catchment area, amount hydraulic indicators water courses greatly influenced by agricultural background surface condition from meltwater flows, intensity erosion processes depth freezing, moisture content topsoil, storage snow, snowmelt intensity. sprays concentrated along gullies, where washed over time, they pass into category hollows, then ravines forming gully-ravine area. most intensive was observed years: 1988 – 33.8 mm, 2003 63.9 2006 24.6 2014 14.3 2017 19.3 2023 10–14 mm. In variants reclamation protective forest plantations structures, 5–12 mm less control it retained belt. mathematical data analysis made possible relationship between rate loss catchment, distance watershed. Conclusions. On sheet wash smoothly turns linear one forms hollows valleys. final link gullies. During peak periods meltwaters, flow velocity flat sections slope 0.33–0.46 m/s, 0.57–0.83 m/s.

modeling gully erosion in dyreh catchment

there are technical and theoretical knowledge of the gully, ditch the clean areas on topographic maps and digital models that will help. however, the ability to use maps (dem) to identify the location and frequency of gully requires knowledge about the process of creating a moat.the present study modeled gulliation prone areas in dyreh river basin done. materials and methods used in this resear...

Gully Erosion after Wildfire

Predicting runoff and erosion from watersheds burned by wildfires requires an understanding of the spatial structure of both hillslope and channel drainage networks. We investigate the small-scale and large-scale structures of drainage networks using field studies and computer analysis of 30-m digital elevation model. Topologic variables were derived from a composite 30-m DEM, which included 14...

Investigation of Some Methodologies in Providing Erosion Maps of Surface, Rill and Gully and Erosion Features

Some methodologies were compared in providing erosion maps of surface, rill and gully and erosion features, in research which took place in the Varamin sub-basin, north-east Tehran, Iran. A photomorphic unit map was produced from processed satellite images, and four other maps were prepared by the integration of different data layers, including slope, plant cover, geology, land use, rocks erodi...

The Gully Erosion Effect On the Environment

The paper contains data about the destructive effects of gully erosion on the environment. It provides general information about the gully erosion in several countries around the world including Romania and is considered a case study for a river basin located in the Semenic Mountains (Bârzava drainage area). The case study is based on the following assumptions: the presence of different types o...

Development and Application of Gully Erosion Components within the Usda Annagnps Watershed Model for Precision Conservation

A watershed scale assessment of the effect of conservation practices on the environment is critical when recommending conservation management practices to agricultural producers. The identification of all sources of sediment and subsequent tracking of the movement of sediment downstream is a necessary part of this assessment including the often overlooked contributions from gully erosion source...
